Founder and Co-Owner of BTS Nutrition
NASM Certified Nutrition Specialist
ETP Performance Nutrition Coach
I am a proud Army wife and mother to 3 rambunctious boys. Prior to being a mom, I taught high school history and coached various high school athletic teams for around 8 years. While I have always been athletic and involved in sports, my true journey to health and fitness began after the birth of my 2 boys (2 babies in 2 years will do that to you). I wanted to make sure I always had enough energy and strength to keep up with them. I started CrossFit in 2007 and have been hooked ever since. I quickly realized that you can't out train a bad diet or perform the way you want to in gym and life without paying attention to your nutrition. As a result I decided to get my nutrition coaching certifications through Eat to Perform and the National Academy of Sports Medicine because I truly believe nutrition is imperative to our performance and lifestyle goals. I love helping people become the best versions of themselves. God has truly blessed me as a mom, a wife and an athlete and my passion is to serve others through helping them make the same positive life changes that I did as they break through whatever is holding them back and commit to a sustainable and attainable lifelong journey in health and wellness.

Co-Owner of Crossfit Dwala (est. 2013)
Co-Owner of BTS Nutrition
CrossFit Level 1 & 2 Trainer
B.A. from University of Georgia
I am a mom of two little girls, Ella and Sophie, and am an avid CrossFitter. My husband and I opened up CrossFit Dwala 9 years ago and it has become the most fulfilling career. During these 9 years of CrossFit gym ownership, I have also competed at a high level in CrossFit: Games Team 2015, 2016, 2018 and Regionals Team level 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018. My experience with sports based and weight loss nutrition began almost 7 years ago and has been something I have been as equally as passionate as CrossFit because the adage "You can never out train a bad diet" is an absolute truth. The clients in our CrossFit facility that have the most progress and the most long term success are those that embrace learning how to fuel their bodies correctly. I am proud to be a part of the BTS Nutrition team so I can further the education on proper fueling with athletes of all backgrounds and goals!
Andrea Junca
NASM CPT
NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist
Hi! My name is Andrea Junca. I’m a wife and stay-at-home mommy to two children and two fur kids! I have a double B.A. in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing, but I’ve recently switched gears to pursue my passion for nutrition and fitness.
I’ve always been into sports and fitness, but my road was never straight and narrow. I started with gymnastics in elementary school, transitioning to track in middle school and high school. Then, after a severe injury, my doctor told me I’d never run again without surgery. Fortunately, with a lot of help from my dad, this turned into my first real lesson in overcoming the odds and finding out what my body could do for me. We swam and lifted weights until I started running 5Ks and 10Ks with no pain! As I regained my physical fitness, I tried a lot of things. I completed a sprint triathlon, then tried out spin classes, Zumba, and body pump — but nothing really kept me motivated.
Then, in 2013, I found CrossFit, and it truly changed my approach to fitness and nutrition. I started to focus on diet and consciously eating to continue to improve my strength and endurance, plus my overall health. And, as I fell in love with this new lifestyle, I knew I wanted to change my career, but I was too afraid to take the plunge!
In 2014, 10 weeks pregnant with my first child, the decision to switch careers was made for me when I was laid off from my retail buying job. The very next day, I started working on my NASM certification to become a Personal Trainer.
Throughout my first pregnancy, I trained clients and truly enjoyed helping people achieve their goals. In 2018, pregnant with my second child, I met Heather and became very interested in BTS nutrition. So at 3 months postpartum, I joined the NYE Challenge and loved everything about it — from my coach to the community. I realized that this could be my opportunity to again help people improve their lives while still balancing my own goals and my full-time job as a mom to two young children. This prompted me to get certified with NASM as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist.
With my own journey in fitness and my knowledge of nutrition and fitness, I’m here to help you achieve your goals!! I can’t wait to work with you!
Jenn DeSabio
Masters of Science in Applied Nutrition
CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
I hold an MS in Applied Nutrition -with a focus in Obesity and Eating Disorders- from Canisius College, and I am a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer. I previously worked as a CrossFit trainer, helping individuals from 13 to 60+ to become better versions of themselves through fitness and performance nutrition coaching. I am a believer in being well-rounded when it comes to fitness and enjoy resistance training, running, cycling, yoga and long walks with my family. I believe food is something that should be enjoyed and it doesn’t have to be unhealthy for it to satisfy your taste buds. I also understand that food is fuel and fueling your body the right way will yield the best results. But, how do you get there? Learning to instill healthy habits is key to better health. That’s where I come in – I look forward to working with you, helping to create a successful picture of total nutrition for yourself.
Todd Reinkemeyer
Registered and Licensed Dietitian
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
BS in Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University
MS in Health Sciences with a Concentration in Nutrition & Dietetics from Georgia State University
Hello! My name is Todd Reinkemeyer, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. My entry into the nutrition world was a personal one that started shortly after finishing my Bachelor’s degree. One day that summer I was walking up a flight of stairs and it hit me, “Wow. This is way more difficult than it should be.” From that point forward, I made a conscious decision to invest in my health. I did a lot of introspection on my personal nutrition and initiated many new exercise habits, such as including a regular resistance training and running regimen. A few years later, and the fruits of my labor had transformed into several completed marathons, mountain summits, and an overall much more positive outlook on my personal health.
From there, I realized that I needed to share this experience with others. I went back to school and attained my Master’s degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in nutrition from Georgia State University. I have counseled in a variety of different nutrition environments, completing over 1200 supervised practice hours in clinical, food service, community, and sports settings. My passions lie where nutrition meets performance. I’ve seen how nutrition has personally impacted my ability to perform in a variety of endeavors, and I want to help you see this impact as well!
Outside of nutrition, I enjoy running, hiking, traveling, golf, racquetball, Braves baseball, and many other things in this adventure we call life.
Kaylan Coker Corbin
MS, RD, LDN
Hello! I’m Kaylan and I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. I am currently living in the Charlotte, NC area with my husband Morgan and our baby girl. Growing up I was always active. I dabbled in dance, softball, and gymnastics but never considered myself to be an athlete. In 2012, I walked into a Crossfit box having no clue what to expect and the first introductory WOD changed the course of my life as I knew it. I instantly fell in love with the close camaraderie of CrossFit along with learning challenging new skills. A year later, I completed my CrossFit Level 1 Certification and began coaching. Finally finding my niche in CrossFit, I finally saw myself as an athlete and quickly realized that the food I ate was just as important as the training… if not more! Inspired, I decided to go back to school for a second career and in 2018 I completed the Registered Dietitian qualifications and earned a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition. I have an intimate understanding that total health is more than just working out and is a combination of good nutrition and self-care. I believe that food is not only fuel but is also what brings people together so it must be enjoyed. Finding that balance is what it is all about!
As much as I love Crossfit, I also think it is important to step outside the box (literally) and test your fitness which is why I also enjoy running the occasional 5k and 10k, hiking and rucking, and completing at least one obstacle race/mud run a year and doing anything adventurous (an occasional skydive is a must!) I have also completed a half marathon (yes, I ran the whole time which was a small miracle). Without proper nutrition, none of this would be possible. Through my own personal journey, I have learned how to use food as fuel while still enjoying life and this is what I am excited to share. Whether you are trying to improve as an athlete or just improve your everyday life, let’s work together to make it happen!
Courtney Colcord
Nutrition Coach
BTS Social Media Coordinator
Hey there! I’m Courtney, and I have been interested in fitness and nutrition for most of my life, starting as a child. I have always been active in sports, running, and the gym, but have really struggled with the nutrition component before finding a coach. I was under the impression that no carbs, less food, and always being in a deficit was surely the way to happiness. Spoiler alert: It’s not. I know, shocking, right? After seeing breakthrough in my own life around food, scales, and anxiety around my body image, I knew I wanted to help bring freedom to other people as well. There is life on the other side of yo-yo dieting and body shame, and I’m here to walk you through it! As a busy single mom of 4, I understand that perfection isn’t on the menu as a way to see sustainable change in any area. But, the good news is: we can get anywhere just by consistently showing up, and it’s more fun to do it together.

Hey! My name is Jake Swindal. I am a father of two boys and currently living in Tokyo due to my wife’s work. We will be moving back home in 2024 but while away, I am a HIIT, Bootcamp, and Spartan Coach in Tokyo.
My fitness journey began at the end of 2018. At the age of 30 with our first son on the way, I had a doctor’s visit that changed my life. If I didn’t make changes, I would be placed on blood pressure medication. My diet/exercise were horrible so...from that point, I decided to make a change to be a better, healthier example for my son. After 6 months, I lost 30+ lbs and reversed all negative health concerns. I became addicted to the consistency and becoming better than yesterday. In doing so, I completed events from 5k to Ironman to Ultra Marathon. However, once Covid began I ran too much while still being in the mindset of a “cut” diet and didn’t realize the incremental damage I was sustaining. By June of 2020, I could not run more than a few miles without knee pain. I was wasting away and didn't feel strong, capable, and confident anymore. After 2 months of trying to figure things out, I joined CrossFit Dwala and my life was changed for a second time. I quickly found the benefits of community, performance, and most importantly proper nutrition to sustain high intensity output for everyday workouts and endurance events. I became stronger and faster while knee pain faded. I learned how to take care of myself through proper movements, self-care, and diet. In quickly seeing benefits, I wanted to learn and help others. Within a year, I became a NASM Personal Trainer, a CrossFit L1 Coach, and a NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. I enjoy learning the boundaries of potential and want to help others through my own knowledge and experience so they can strive to learn their full capabilities. I am excited to be part of the BTS Nutrition Team and look forward to working with you to unlock the potential available behind proper nutrition and exercise.
John Davenport
NASM Nutrition Certification
Hello, I’m John Davenport and I’m a husband , hairstylist, and a NASM certified nutrition coach.
The old saying “you are what you eat” is always being put to test. I believe in it, to feel good and be at your best it’s all about how you treat your body. I’ve had my struggles for years. I was always a runner/athlete. I ran competitively through high school and a few years into college. I eventually I took a year off from running and started working out in a GYM, but then I found ultra running (any race 50k-100 miles). The results of trying to log hundreds of miles a week while out partying with my friends and not treating my body the best with over eating and alcohol took it’s toll. I was waking up the next day feeling like crap, knowing I needed to get a 10-20 mile run in. This way of training and lifestyle was about explode up on me. Eventually it did, when I chose the unhealthy lifestyle over a healthy one, the weight gain happened, lack of motivation, all the things I said would never happen to me. But it did. Once I hit rock bottom I had to find a way out. By luck ,I eventually signed up for a six week challenge at CrossFit Dwala that they were hosting. I fell in love with lifting and CrossFit workouts as a whole. This was all new to me and exciting stuff. I wanted to take it to the the next level and that step was getting the fuel to feed the fire. I joined BTS NUTRITION as a client first during a fall challenge. I learned so much about macros and how I can eat properly while enjoying foods I love(It’s all about moderation). Being intrigued by all of this I decided to become a certified nutrition coach to delve deeper into the Science of Macros so I can help not just only myself but others along the way. Even after having a lumbar herniated disc surgery in my lower back the beginning of March 2023 I was able to maintain my goals and not add on any unnecessary weight with the knowledge on how to dial in the macros when you’re down and out to build a stronger recovery. So if you’re ready to get motivated and want to join in on this healthy lifestyle just send us a message. I’m excited to help and guide you along your journey. Trust me, if I can do it , so can you -it’s that easy.
Ashley Gerken
Registered and Licensed Dietitian
BS in Family and Consumer Sciences for Dietetics from the University of Georgia
MS in Health Sciences for Nutrition from Georgia State University
Hi everyone! I am Ashley, a lover of food and the outdoors. From a young age I have been extremely active. Growing up I was always outside playing or riding my bike. Coming from a father who weight lifted all his life, I naturally fell into the practice as well in my preteen years and continued at various intensities throughout the years. I also enjoy cycle classes and yoga and was recently introduced to CrossFit by my husband and quickly fell in love with its combo of strength training and cardio. Outside of the gym I love hiking, camping, biking, and walking my precious doggo!
As for my nutrition path it has definitely been a winding one. I grew up in a household that loved to gather in the kitchen! I learned how to cook and bake from a young age and found a love for food early. However, growing up in the era of low carb diets such as Atkins and South Beach left me with a disjointed understanding of healthy eating. Throughout the years I have begun to recognize these disjointed views and found a desire to learn more about what healthy eating looks like. This all led me to changing my major from music performance to nutrition halfway through my sophomore year of college. I quickly fell in love with learning the intricacies of metabolism and how the body uses energy. My view of food shifted from strict categories of good and bad foods to a more well-rounded understanding of which foods provide the nutrients that I need to be at my best. I think this is key to understanding how to eat healthy and fuel your body in the best way. I truly believe every food fits and every person is different; therefore, nutrition must be personalized and that is what I hope to help every person I work with achieve - an understanding of how to fuel their own body efficiently and effectively!
Lauren Segars
NASM Nutrition Certification
Hi! I’m Lauren! I’m a wife, a mom to a rambunctious little boy, and a music teacher. I have my BA in music education and teach young musicians how to play percussion! I have been interested in sports and fitness since I was young, but when an undiagnosed breathing issue held me back, I became a sedentary kid. I also dealt with picky eating throughout my childhood and struggled to enjoy most foods. When I began to date the man I would later marry, I realized that his family runs 5ks on Thanksgiving, so I decided to get back into an active lifestyle. I started running and lifting weights on my own while simultaneously expanding my palette to heal my relationship with food. When I found Crossfit and learned how use nutrition to meet my goals, I was absolutely hooked. I am so grateful for what I’ve learned about nutrition because I have discovered balance in my life without any restrictions! I enjoy everything that food has to offer me now, and I know how to use it to benefit myself in the gym and at home with my son! In 2023 I got my NASM Nutrition Coach certification. I want to help you feel good about food and feel good about what food can do for you! I’m here for you!
Alex Lewis
NASM Nutrition Certification
Hi! My name is Alex, and I have been active in fitness my entire life. I was an elementary school teacher before my first child was born, and then switched my focus to being a stay-at-home mom. When faced with postpartum body composition changes courtesy of multiple children, I found that exercise was only part of the big picture. A well-balanced diet was just the complement I needed to fully reach my goals. I know what it’s like to manage carpool, t-ball practice, swimming lessons, and more — all while trying to meal prep for my family and eat a nutritious diet. It can be done, and I’m here to help you do it too! I believe that food should be used to fuel the body, and anyone who decides to put in the work will benefit. Let’s do this together!
